It took over 10 years of professional experience in the field of human rights and democratization with the UN Mission in Kosovo and Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Mission in Kosovo as a project manager and team leader to realize that my passion lies with the empowerment of people working in the development sector. Still committed towards building democratic societies that uphold human rights standards, I’ve learned that my strengths are better suited to partnering with “my former colleagues” by enhancing their ability to carry out their meaningful work.
Raised in the United States with a professional foundation largely in Western and South-East Europe, I have gained a personal interest in the area of inter-cultural communication and collaboration. My work has brought me to Azerbaijan, Belgium, France, Jordan, Kosovo, Mozambique, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Romania, State of Palestine, Sweden and Ukraine; I have partnered with clients virtually in Australia, Bolivia, Haiti, Myanmar, the Netherlands, Nepal, Paraguay, Peru, Thailand, Turkey and Tunisia.
I practice behavior and solution-oriented coaching in line with the principles and ethics of the International Coach Federation, which hold that through increased awareness, positive thinking, challenging and questioning, a client can unlock their full potential. I use experiential learning through activities, video, audio, role play, and other tools for all events.
I mostly operate as a digital nomad to best serve my clients and account for my home life in Kosovo, the US and Canada. I am open to the possibility of collaboration with other professional coaches and learning and development professionals should our values be in line.
Drop me a line, I’d love to support you in your cause!
